KNIFE CARE:
Do not store your knives for long periods in the leather sheath, as leather can absorb water that will rust the knife.Wash the blade after every use and dry it immediately, and use WD-40, vegetable oil, or Vaseline on the blade to preventrust. Ifthe blade is rusted, use a worn sandpaper 600 grit, and then use WD-40, vegetable oil, orVaseline. Tosharpen the blade, use a ceramic rod. Hold the knife at a 20-degree angle and gently draw the blade from the handle end to the tip. Repeat the same step on the other side as well.
CUSTOM SHEATH:
Our sheath has been treated with vegetable oil to prevent corrosion of the steel, so if you come across stains, these are not defects.
