This is one of the best and new products of Gk&CO.KUKRI HOUSE. This is 12\" kukri with three chirras (fullers) on its blade and the blade is rust free because of its black color (natural color) so the kukri is named as \" 12\" Rust free tin(three) Chirras(fullers) khukuri\". Its 12\"blade is made of High Graded Carbon Steel (spring of vehicles) with balanced water purring temper on the edge so it’s very strong. Most strongest wood \"Rose wood\" is used to make its 5\" full tang handle, Unlike other handle (Not Rat tail), the handle and Blade is a one single piece and visible all around the handle (see picture).Two rosewood pieces joint(attached) strongly to the metal part of handle with three metal rivets and adjust lanyard hole on handle. Its scabbard is made of Water-Buffalo leather. This blade can be used to chop wood or bone, cleaning bushes etc. Its black color is better for jungle use.

How to maintain your Kukri:

1.Apply machine oil, gun oil, or animal fat on the blade after every use.

2.Its recommended that you don\'t leave any fingerprints on the blade. If itsnecessary to touch the blade, you should clean it by using petrol/gasoline oroil and wipe with soft cloths.

3.Your Kukri blade is made of Carbon Steel and can rust easily. In case ofrusting rub it with a fine sandpaper, clean the dirt using some oil or gasolineand wipe it with a clean soft cloth then apply oil. Check the blade frequentlyand apply oil regularly.

4.Use shoe polish for the leather sheaths. Use brass polish or silver polish (thetype used for brass fittings or sliver sheaths).

5.Most of the Kukris come with two utility knives; the blunt knife (chakmak) isused for sharpening the blade The other one - sharp edge (karda) is used forsmall tasks such as a pen knife.
