This vintage GILLETTE Gold Two Tone/ 3 Piece safety razor is a unique collectible from the 1930s. The razor is made of gold-plated brass and was manufactured in the United States. The design is a re-issue of the original GILLETTE razor with patent number 17567. The item is not handmade and is perfect for shaving enthusiasts who appreciate vintage and rare razors.

Handle is in fine condition with no cracks. The baseplate has a beautiful gold luster and the open comb teeth are stellar. The baseplate has one of the best gold finishes I’ve ever seen. The top cap has lost some plating. There are some blemishes but it’s in solid shape. The rigid blade clamping provides a smooth and efficient shave. Also included is a Vintage Gillette gold tone blade holder with one Vintage Gillette Thin Blade.
