consisting of two framed & matted clippings featuring artist\'s sketches and corresponding stories of combat experiences related by USAAF Capt. (later Lt. Col.) Robert S. Johnson, WWII fighter Ace, while in action in the European Theater.
Capt. Johnson, of the 61st FS, 56 FG, 8th Air Force, stationed out of Boxted, England, tallied 27 enemy kills in his P-47D Thunderbolt.

CONDITION is FINE - VINTAGE. Original WWII-Era Newspaper Clippings in \"FINE - Vintage\" condition, matted & framed under glass.
