Two scarce Art Nouveau postcards with bird motifs in Japanese lacquer ware style.
1) Japanese motif, depicting swallows on a tree and poppy flowers.The design reminds of Japanese lacquer painting, partly gold print.Used in France in 1907, undivided back.Minor spots at upper left corner. Fine condition.
2) Decorative, similar, lithographed postcard resembling Japanese lacquer painting with bird on Lotus leaves. Used in Austria in 1901. Neat writing, very fine condition.
