Rare, vintage German Beer Stein/Pitcher. Hand made and incised in the Westerwald (?) Region of Germany. Grey salt glazed stoneware with cobalt blue. The pewter lid shows some wear and is engraved, unable to read the name. The bottom of the stein is only marked with the #135. No repairs or cracks but there is a very tiny chip by the blue top rim. Hardly noticeable.
