This Staffordshire piece of pearlware was made by the potter Joseph Stubbs at Longport in Burslem, England in around 1825. He was in business from around 1822 to 1835. He created a

handful of patterns on his earthenware and almost always drew his inspiration from American themes. Several of his pieces are currently housed in American museums.


Saucer measures 5 3/4” in Diameter x 1 1/4” High


Excellent condition! May have a few common rough glaze imperfections from kiln marks. A few small flecks on bottom rim as pictured in close ups. Has crazing which is typical for the age. Imprinted with the circular flower. Please see pictures as part of description.
