THE RADIO DOES STILL WORK. You can actually listen to AM Radio.


The cord connecting the radio station selecting knob on the front of the radio to the tuning wheel inside is disconnected, but I was able to tune the radio to various stations by manually turning the tuning wheel inside the radio from the back.

Two of the pictures show the radio plugged in and turned on, shown from the front and the back.

This radio is a fine representation of the quality of craftsmanship of its time, and the fact that it still actually works after 82 years is quite impressive.
