CROSSFIRE #12 1985 Eclipse ComicsThe cover art is by the late, great Dave Stevens, and features Crossfire and the Iconic and beautiful Marilyn Monroe.
This nearly 40 year old comic is in at least near mint 9.4 condition, but could easily grade 9.8 if turned into CGC ... it\'s definitely High Grade with no apparent defects to note. Bronze Age Books:1984-1991 are not rare. Many were in high grade, although, after the 90s comic glut, a great many of these books ended up in quarter/dollar bins getting \'man-handled\' for quite some time. Therefore, High Grade copies have become harder to find over time. Provenance: This book has been in my collection for a couple of decades after picking it up while working at Collector\'s Comics in Wantagh and has been stored in a pet-free, smoke-free, air-conditioned environment during my ownership. Purchased in New York, traveled with me to Florida and hasn\'t seen the light of day for quite some time. Sold as is. I personally did a page count and will attest that the book and all pages are complete.
I personally review and page-count every book I sell, checking for insidious rips/tears coupon clippings, or ....Missing Marvel Stampsor clipped Palisades Park amusement admissions ...or additional drawings by previous owners, centerfolds or pin-up pages missing, hidden money, etc, etc. I try to list any and all major defects as possible, but I\'m only human and can miss or forget some minor details.
I have 40+ years of experience grading comics, but grading is subjective and I only offer my opinion for your convenience. Along with my grading evaluation, I also give the objective Overstreet definitions for your convenienceas well.
