Here is a specimen of aUlna bone from a raptor dinosaur from the Hell Creek Formation in Montana. From the Cretaceous period, the last of theAge of Dinosaurs.
Not enough information to determine with 100% accuracy what species of raptor this ulna section belonged to. Possibly Dromaeosaurus. Raptors included Dromaeosaurus, Utahraptor,Dakotaraptor, Deinonychus, Velociraptor, Bambiraptor, and others.
The specimen measures 3.26" using calipers at the longest point. No paint or restoration has been used.
It is generally acknowledged that most raptors werecovered with feathers, including tail feathers. On some species, one of thetoes on each of its two feet was a large sharp claw, that stayed above theground when it walked, rather than on the ground. Probably great for attacks.
