The Idaho Daily Statesman Newspaper Comics section. Original newspaper flong mold. These were hand made daily by typesetters. This one is dated 06/08/1951.

This flong mold mat is in excellent condition considering it’s almost 75 years old. This flong measures 18.50” x 22.50” approximately.

Most of these flongs were tossed in the trash after each days printing. Made from paper mache they are a true work of art.

Used, Shows age and wear consistent with use. Please see photos to determine the condition for yourself as everyone grades differently. I am not a grader. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or would like more images.
