Vintage; C.1960's-70's, William Skilling, hand-painted, porcelain, Ginger-Jar lamp, with Monkey's and Tropical Palm Frond design motif, mounted on an Asian rosewood round base, with original brass hardware and finial ball top, as well as original wiring, and in working condition. The monkey's are a female and male version, with the Male serenading the female, roses are spread about while the female monkey has a bird/parrot and a heart emoji, with white fur trim line hat and cape, while the male version has a American Colonial classical hat, one can say America and Colonialism, with Tropical backgrounds were prevalent in Asian interiors, on the decorative/lighting and accessory end of it, and made inclusive within interior Domains during this period of popularity.
