For Sale is an Original Foot Guards Bearskin helmet as seen on UK state occasions. I would call this a very good example, especially for being 60-70 years old. The fur is in good condition. The cane frame is 90% intact as far as can be seen. This will come with the chain scales. It is currently in Coldstream Guards configuration. The red hackle can be moved or replaced. The leather sweat band is cracked, however the suspension is in good use. Will fit 56.7 cm (US 7 1/8. )
I will be open to reasonable offers as these are scarce in the US.
