Limoges Vintage Retired Rooster Hand Painted Trinket Box For Sale

Very handsome hand-painted VINTAGE LIMOGES ROOSTER BOX. This outstanding Limoges box depicts a VERY COLORFUL MINIATURE ROOSTER.

His colors are beautiful with his black breast, yellow feathers, and deep teal/black tail feathers and adorned with a beautiful clasp. He is standing on a mound of green grass as early as the sun rises!

Inside is a Made in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist on is bottom.

This would be a GREAT GIFT for a lover of farm animals or a CHARMING ADDITION to add your collection!

It measures 2-1/2” in height, is from breast to his tail feathers 1-1/4” in length. He is 1-1/4” in diameter. His base is 3/4” in height. Circa 1990.
