These cylinder head wrenches are made by Detroit Diesel either during WWII or shortly after. These are 15/16 wrenches for the 71 series of engines. This was standard equipment on certain landing craft that had a 6-71 engine in them. Brand new out of the original shipping crate.. most of these will have some type of preservative on them.. it works that's why they still look brand new! Pretty cool piece of history for yourself or the diesel mechanic in your life.. Has the original Detroit Diesel tag on them as well.
