Rosemary Apple Blossom Lonewolf (1954- ) is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. As a daughter of Joseph Lonewolf, she works in the style of her dad and her aunt, Grace Medicine Flower. Lonewolf attended St. Mary's High School in Colorado Springs, CO, Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. She began creating pottery in 1972, under the tutelage of her father. Her works have been featured in prominent publications, and she has received many notable awards for her work.

Sgraffito Carving: A method of pottery design known as sgraffito carving is relatively new in pueblo pottery traditions. Rather than deep carving, as is more traditional at Santa Clara Pueblo, sgraffito is achieved by scraping the vessel with a sharp instrument to achieve a shallow depth. The pottery is formed in the traditional coil method, slipped with a watery clay and stone polished before the sgraffito carving commences.

Santa Clara Pueblo (Tewa: Kha'po) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 980 at the 2000 census, although, approximately 3,800 reside on the reservation. Santa Clara Pueblo was established about 1550.
The pueblo is a member of the Eight Northern Pueblos, and the people are from the Tewa ethnic group of Native Americans who speak the Tewa language. The pueblo is on the Rio Grande, between Ohkay Owingeh (formerly San Juan Pueblo) to the north and San Ildefonso Pueblo to the south. Santa Clara Pueblo is famous for producing hand-crafted pottery, specifically blackware and redware with deep engravings.
