OUTSTANDING Turquoise Bracelet by Navajo Artist IKE WILSON c. 1930 For Sale

This exquisite bracelet is a true masterpiece of Native American craftsmanship, made by Navajo artisan Ike Wilson circa 1930. The design is lovely, large stone in the middle (3/4"x1/2") with small round matching stones to each side - there is tiny twisted or stamped wire on the top and bottom of the large stone and it is flanked by five small raindrops on each side. The two small stones are mounted on oval shaped silver plates with a tiny perfectly stamped design. The stones are sky blue with a light brown matrix (Cerrillos?). A beautiful bracelet for the smaller wrist - 5 1/4" inside end to end with an additional 7/8" opening (could be altered slightly) - width 5/8" at center and tapers to 3/8" at the ends - weight a comfortable 30g. - some "tool" marks inside - perhaps from original construction - signed by the artist with his small bow & arrow.
