This vintage, antique receipt is in good condition.

This is a VERY RARE, antique, vintage newspaper subscription receipt from the Morning Herald-Despatch newspaper in Decatur, Illinois, from 1894. It is 130 years old! The receipt shows that it was for the McCune family in Decatur. 20 cents was paid for 2 weeks of the paper ending December 15, 1894. It is very rare to find a surviving receipt like this because most of these paper type items were discarded back then. It has been well preserved. It was found in a very old personal scrap book with other items from Decatur, Illinois. It is a great, ONE OF A KIND, historic find!
