Dated 1891 42 star Parade Flag made of starched muslin with print dye. Dated flags are rare, and 42 Star flags can sell in the $1,000s.

Parade Flags like this are a piece ofAmerican history as they were produced on a roll, printed on one side, attachedto wooden sticks using adhesive, and then shipped to Hardware and GeneralStores in packages, which would sell to the general public for ceremonies. This one was most likely for a 4th of July celebration.
