Based on the serial number this Rare LeCoultre Travel Alarm Clock in working Condition was made in the 1920's. The clock works, you can set the time and the calendar. It has a luminous dial. Both the alram and the main clock wind. The leather case has had lots of abuse, the end panels are missing but the hinge still works. There is some stains on the bottom of the case where it must of tangled with some shaving lotion, etc.
Antoine LeCoultre, the founder of the company started in a small watchmaking workshop in Le Sentier Switzerland. He later merged with Edmond Jaeger to form Jaeger LeCoultre. It is said only the wealthy could afford such a fine time piece.
This particular one is monogramed with the name "Joey". This item is from the Las Vegas area so maybe it was a famous "Joey"? I guess we'll never know.
Patent number 365.884, Serial number 076882. When closed up it measures 5" x 3" x 1" approximately.
