Sterling Silver & Turquoise Belt Buckle "GIL" Southwestern 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" with 1 5/8" belt loop. In as found condition from an Estate Sale, this very attractive sterling and turquoise belt buckle is in very good to excellent condition. Appears to be a hand made piece. No attempt to polish the finish. Personalized with "GIL" on bottom of front. Maker marked "JWC" on reverse along with lightly etched in cursive "Gilbert". Southwest design. Very attractive Turquoise center piece solidly attached to buckle. History is unknown but appears to have some age. Maker "JWC" not identified. Possibly Native American Zuni or Navajo piece from this area of NW Arizona but unconfirmed. Weighs 2# 2 oz. Perfect for Gill or Gilbert or great collectible item for display or wear.
