1) June 13, 1899 -NAWSA check signed by Susan B Anthony (pres.), Alice Stone Blackwell (sec.), inthe hand of Harriet Taylor Upton (treas.), $64.92 payable to The TowerManufacturing & Novelty Co. (Stationary Warehouse).

2) February 14, 1893– Tower Manufacturing & Novelty Co. invoice as an exhibition of the stationary products (pens, pencils, ink,paper) that NAWSA was purchasing with the written check (item #1) during thistime period.

3) October 16, 1900– Postmarked envelope from Tower Manufacturing & Novelty Co., Stationaryand Blank Book Warehouse (established 1845). Postmarked during the time periodin which NAWSA made its purchase.

4) May, 1897 – TheArena (publication), Susan B Anthony authored article; The Status of Women,Past, Present and Future. On page 904 of this publication she pens one of hermost famous quotes; “… there is not one foot ofadvanced ground upon which women stand today that has not been obtained throughthe hard-fought battles of other women.” This article exhibitswhat Susan B Anthony was writing during this time period.

5) 1890 (copyright) firstedition book titled – Our Early Presidents Their Wives and Children by HarrietTaylor Upton. As exhibition of what NAWSA treasurer Harriet Taylor Upton waswriting during this time period.

6) "Failure IsImpossible" (pin) – excerpted from Susan B Anthony’s 86thbirthday speech in 1906, in which she concludes; “I am here for a littletime only, but my place must be filled, as theirs were filled. The fight mustnot cease; you must see that it does not. Failure is impossible.”

7) February 7 &22, 1889 – In The Senate Of The United States, Report No. 2543 (Part 1 & 2),from the Committee on Woman Suffrage. In this report are published remarks bySusan B Anthony (NAWSA pres.), Alice Stone Blackwell (NAWSA sec.), ElizabethCady Stanton, Francis Willard and many other Suffragettes from throughout theUnited States and Canada.

8) May 27, 1899 –The Woman’s Journal published 16 days before the NAWSA check waswritten. Lucy Stone founded the Woman’s Journal and its editor was herdaughter, Alice Stone Blackwell (NAWSA sec.). Front page and its obverse sideonly celebrating Julia Ward Howe’s 80thbirthday with a poem by Miss Blackwell, as an exhibit of what Alice StoneBlackwell was writing during this time period.
