VINTAGE 1917-18 US NAVY-USMC PILOT AVIATION OFFICAL QUARTERMASTER WING SAMPLE INSIGNIA:
Official USN-USMC Bronze Quartermaster Sample full size Uniform Wing.
Wing has closed Flukes, Jew\'s Harp and Becket.
Full Size Wing dimension\'s: 70mm X 23mm.
This example Wing was the Navy standard to be used by Government Contract Manufactures.
Front side of Wing shows very detailed feathers.
Backside of Wing is die struck planchet with flat surface.
Wing never had fasteners pin and clasp applied, No Hall Marks.
Wing weight of trimmed planchet: 11 grams.
Full size Insignia front and back has nice aged Patina, as photographed.
