VINTAGE 1920's Voos Cutlery Co. New Haven CT. Distributor was Arrow Hardware in New Haven CT. The pearl scales, no cracks no chips. The blade is tight no wiggle no wobble. Just snap...The blade is in good shape, it may still have factory edge. Still needs to be sharpened. Some of the hardware stores would contract for brand knives from Germany or England etc. In order not to have to pay the 1895 tariff. The knives would be stamped with the hardware store brand with a "Made in USA" in this way the tariff would be avoided. Simions Hardware of St Louis did that with Keen Kutter. Shapleigh Hardware was another company that did the same thing with their contract knives.I RATE THIS KNIFE AS EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH FULL STOP BLADE WITH SNAP...
