VINTAGE DICK TRACY SQUAD CAR #1 Early 1950\'s Louis Marx Toy Rare Red Base ver For Sale

VINTAGE DICK TRACY SQUAD CAR #1 (LOUIS MARX TOYS 1950\'s). 6 1/2\" long, friction wind-up toy car. Early versions of this toy are fairly common, and designed with a light on top. This later version is smaller with a \"painted\" light on top. There were two different versions of this toy. One has no key on the passenger side. The other has a wind-up key and a red base. Both of these variants are very rare. This version of the toy features the red base with wind-up key. FINE MINUS condition.

This is a complete and functioning toy with minor scuffing and tiny scratches. The wind-up spring is stretched some, but still drives the vehicle very well. The paint still shows much of the original gloss.
