VTG George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Straight Razor Bakelite Handle original Coffin For Sale

Made in Sheffield, England this is a true vintage George Wostenholm & Son's Celebrated IXL Extra Hollow Ground Straight Razor and it comes with the original coffin. The black scales (the handle) are made of Bakelite and are still in excellent condition with no cracks, knicks or markings. The *Very Sharp* steel blade is also in excellent condition - no chips to be found on the blades edge and only minor carbon stains you'd expect on a blade this old. The original coffin is where you see the wear & tear, however it remains a very sturdy, solid box to safely store the blade. There are faint remnants of my great-grandfather's handwriting visible when the lid of the box is pulled off but I cannot make out what he wrote.
