Old key from the Americus Hotel in Allentown- built in 1927, and stopped serving as a hotel officially in 2002 before closing in 2007. The Americus was a grand hotel on Hamilton Street for decades before it closed ( Look it up on Wikipedia).Thankfully, it finally has been restored to its glory now! I came across this Schlage brand key- I do not know the age. 1970s? Still a neat and rare collectible...
