Vintage Compliments of Standard Oil Advertising Calendar w/Mirror Wall Hanging For Sale

This vintage ‘Compliments of Hogan Malingen Standard Oil Products confectionery and soft drinks on Highway No. 52 Lawndale, Minn.’ is a great addition to any collection. The intricate details and designs on a tinfoil type background showcases the year 1943 and is a perfect display piece for any complimentary advertising enthusiast. This wall hanging calendar with its built in mirror is a great piece of merchandise for collectors of advertising memorabilia from the 40s.

Top hole to hang on the wall. Measures 8-3/4 in. height by 3-1/2 in. width. Made from a sturdy cardboard backing and a unique type of chrome looking tinfoil papered border.

Some wear, old yellowing bits of tape and various imperfections, including some of the paper border is missing in places and is lifting from the backing. The little calendar towards the bottom has its left hand bottom corners all folded over. The mirror isn’t perfect, it’s a bit old looking and has some blurring and imperfections throughout, but it is a real glass mirror. Please see the photos for the complete description.
