You are offerding on a vintage, large booklet or book titled IN THE SHADOW OF PIKE'S PEAK. A View Book of the Pike's Peak Region. Photos by Stevens, Harlan and others, published by A.A. Walling & Martin Slaughter, Colorado Springs, Colorado, circa 1900 to 1905. Each plate mounted on a recto of a leaf, with descriptive text on the verso. There are 30 plates in all. Many of them are photos depicting railroads such as the Denver and R.G. Railroad. Super cool piece. Covers and spine have light wear, some light staining on the first and last white pages and center picture is included but not glued in. Zoom in for details.
