*** RARELY AVAILABLE *** Architectural replica of Frank Lloyd Wright\'s (1867-1959) Frederick C. Robie House (1908-1910). Lighted replica of the real-world architectural masterpiece located on Chicago’s south side by Marshall Field\'s City Sights and authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

As stated on the original box (included):

“The Robie House, located on the campus of the University of Chicago, represents the culmination of Wright’s Prairie style with its sweeping horizontal planes, broad sheltering roof, dramatic cantilevers, long bands of art glass windows, and geometric decorative elements. Through the use of projecting terraces, garden walls, planters and urns, he blurs the distinction between inside and out. In 1957, House and Home magazine declared that Frank Lloyd Wright was an innovator who could not be rivaled. ‘Without this house, much of modern architecture, as we know it today, might not exist.’”

Vintage architectural collectible originally purchased from Marshall Field’s (now Macy’s) in the late 1990s. Excellent condition; no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs. Lights in perfect working order. Great detail and color. From personal family estate collection.
