This is a 1956 Gillette Super Speed "Heavy" Red Tip vintage double edge safety razor, date code B-1. The razor is in super condition. The TTO mechanism is smooth like butter, and there is only minor red enamel loss (see pics). Alas, one of the hinges on the case is broken. The case still closes firmly and the spring-action button opening is fine. Still a beautiful razor to add to one's shave den.
