Beautiful 1980 Case XX 5318 HP SSP Premium Stockman, produced during Case’s 75th Anniversary year and dressed in handsome, thick genuine stag.

This is a particularly attractive example of the classic 18-pattern Stockman, measuring approximately 3 5/8” closed. The stag displays warm honey, amber and rich brown coloration with excellent natural character, especially on the pile side. Nickel-silver bolsters, brass liners and the classic CASE oval shield complete the traditional presentation.

The master clip blade carries the distinctive green “1905 75th ANNIVERSARY 1980” commemorative blade etch. The tang bears the 1980 Case XX 10-dot stamp, while the reverse is clearly pattern stamped 5318 HP SSP.

◆ BLADES: Three very full stainless-steel blades with clean profiles and excellent overall presentation. The commemorative 75th Anniversary blade etch remains strong and highly legible.

◆ MECHANICS: Excellent. All three blades have good snap with no noted wobble or blade play. The knife feels tight and well fitted throughout.

◆ HANDLES: Beautiful, thick genuine stag with excellent natural coloration and character. There is a small localized area of surface flaking/peeling near one bolster, clearly pictured for full disclosure. It is not especially noticeable in the knife’s overall presentation, and no through-crack is noted.

◆ SIZE: Approximately 3 5/8” closed.

◆ CONDITION: Excellent overall vintage collector condition with minor handling/storage marks consistent with age. The knife remains very attractive in overall presentation, with handsome stag, full blades and a strong commemorative etch. Please examine all photographs carefully, including the close-up showing the small area of surface flaking in the stag, as the photos are an important part of the description.
