Historical records for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party confirm these exact seven dates for the 1997 event.

The artwork features a wonderful oversized image of Mickey Mouse in holiday attire with a child enjoying the falling “snow,” with the headline “Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.” A green banner across the upper corner reads “Tickets On Sale Here,” while the bottom incorporates both the vintage Albertsons logo and Walt Disney World branding with the period slogan “Everything In The World for the Holidays.”

This is not a conventional souvenir poster. At approximately 56 inches tall by 42 inches wide, it is a gigantic commercial point-of-purchase / in-store advertising display created to promote Walt Disney World event ticket sales through Albertsons stores.

The Albertsons branding is particularly desirable because it identifies the piece as retail promotional advertising rather than the much more commonly encountered Disney souvenir material. Its approximately 4½-foot height gives it tremendous presence when displayed.

An unusual survivor from 1990s Walt Disney World and a fantastic crossover collectible for Disney, Mickey Mouse, Magic Kingdom, Christmas, theme-park advertising, supermarket advertising and Central Florida memorabilia collectors.
