These beautiful buttons were made in the Czech Republic - Northern Bohemia, are made from LIGHT GREEN VASELINE GLASS, UNIQUE handpressmolded ! RELIEF with RAINBOW IRIDESCENT FINISH. UNIQUE BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4-way Metal Box Shank. Uranium/VASELINE glass is created when 2% Uranium Dioxide is added to the glass formula. It is a very difficult color to produce because of its high percentage of breakage in the creation process of this rare glass. Uranium glass is giving the button a UNIQUE green tone as the light reflects through the glass - UNBELIEVEBLE color effect - it "glows" a bright fluorescent green when UV light is shined on the glass.Size: 7/8 inches or 23 mm
