DESCRIPTION:Vintage WWI era postcard from a soldier on duty to his wife back home in Kendal. It reads, \"Dear Nell, Just a P. C. hoping it finds you alright as it leaves me the same. I am just going to see George as we are allowed out again now. It is fine down here. I would have liked to have been at home to take you and the kiddies out today, but will be soon. Goodnight, Charlie.\" This card is from a nice lot of military postcards - WWI, WWII, and Vietnam - I recently picked up, including some sent home by free franked soldiers\' mail. CONDITION:Minor general wear and toning, no creases, rips, or other damage. Displays very nicely.
