Up for sale is a beautiful, hand-painted porcelain armorial teapot by the renowned French manufacturer Edmé Samson et Cie (Samson of Paris).
Italian Oimi Family crest.
Approx 6 1/2\" H X 8\" L
Crafted in the late 19th century, this piece is a high-quality reproduction of 18th-century Chinese Export Famille Rose porcelain.
Design: Features a fluted/ribbed body, a vivid hand-painted heraldic coat of arms crest on one side, and a floral bouquet on the reverse. Completed with a matching floral-bud finial lid.
Markings: Marked on the base with the classic Samson iron-red faux Chinese seal and cursive \"S\" factory signature.
Overall excellent vintage condition with the ename vibrant and intact gelding.
NOTE: The lid features a hand applied twin leaf rosebud finial which has a clean chip on the outer edge of the right leaf as shown in the photos.
Other than that the piece is free of chips or cracks or damage.
