Antique Violet Magician Silk Los Angeles CA w/bound edge 17x26 inches For Sale

This silk was found in the 70's in an old estate in the hills near Los Angeles California. 

This was not far from the famous Magic Castle, known as "The Mecca for Magicians" and home of the "Academy of Magical Arts" as a popular destination for magicians worldwide. 

Although there is no clear relationship to ownership by anyone at the Magic Castle itself, the owner of this silk did have good friends at the Magic Castle and enjoyed visits/shows during the 1970's to 1990's. 

Its luminous and shimmering color of this silk could make it a great Home Decor item. It's the same violet color on both sides, bound with a blue silk thread.

We invest in high-quality packaging such as moisture-resistant materials, custom reinforcement and strong boxes to protect your treasure against damage. All of our packages are fully-insured, and upon your request we will pay extra for a 'signature only' delivery.  The only way you can protect yourself against “porch pirates” is the signature-only delivery. 

CONDITION: Remember that wear and other aberrations are consistent with age and use. Old stuff is usually not perfect. I inspect all of my vintage goods very very carefully before listing. I try to find, describe and picture every itty bitty tiny flaw so that you will know what you are buying. All items I sell can be considered in very good used condition unless noted or shown in my pictures. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
