Offered here is a fantastic early 20th-century collection of Cosmos Pictures Company, New York photographic reproductions depicting Egypt, Palestine and the Holy Land, accompanied by the original decorated Cosmos Pictures portfolio/folder. The pictures are 8 1/2” x 6”.Cosmos Pictures Co. was producing and advertising inexpensive educational and art reproductions in New York during the early 1900s, making this an interesting surviving group from the golden age of American educational and travel photography.The individual prints are numbered and titled along the lower margin and form a particularly nice group of Egyptian and Holy Land subjects.Identified images include:* #3084 — Distant View of the Pyramids with the Nile
