Hand-carved Aboriginal hunting stick boomerang is a unique piece that represents the Australian culture. Likely 100-150 years old. Hand-flaked with stone or steel tools and sealed with red ochre. Possibly made for personal use by a native Australian for hunting, digging, tending fires, etc, or possibly for tourist trade. Difficult to tell because of the lack of obvious scorching and wear that would indicate personal use.Excellent condition. No chips, splits, or gouges.
