Hand-carved Aboriginal hunting stick boomerang is a unique piece that represents the Australian culture. Likely 150-200 years old. Hand-fluted with stone or jawbone tools and sealed with red ochre at one time, but later polished for tourist trade. Scorching on both ends indicates this was a multipurpose survival tool owned and used by a native Australian for hunting, digging, tending fires, etc. Excellent condition. No chips, splits, or gouges.
