I imagine the photograph was taken in the early 1900's. It measures approximately 9-1/2" x 7-3/8" mounted on 13-7/8 x 10-7/8" stock. There is a deposit of a hard substance that likely can be easily removed in the mounting stock and wear on bottom corners along with a section of wear on the photo (all photographed) along with very light superficial scratches on the photo only visible when tilted to certain angles.
