Description:

This beautiful rare early 19th century French hand embroidered beauvais valance has a beige silk background with lovely finely embroidered leaves and flowers in tones of soft gold, pale green , dark green, teal blue and navy. This lovely rare valance has a wonderful shape with areas that are larger and areas which are shorter! There is a lovely silk trim with silk tassels along the bottom of the valance. Wonderful to use once again!See photos for reference

16 inches in Length by 42 inches in Width

Condition:

Excellent- the valance is lined with batting and with a silky/cotton. There are hooks on the back of the fabric.
