Description: For sale is a CDV portrait of a handsome British man who is . . . about as British as one could be. A Victorian man through and through. He sports a large top hat, pocketwatch, patterned vest, and a mustache with sideburns. He holds a parasol in one hand and stands in front of a studio prop. Backmark is stamped Phillips & Co., 9 Clare Street, Corner of Marsh Street, Bristol. Most likely an 1860s date for this photo.
Condition: Good. Nice clarity and content. A few very small and faint white spots in the background. A fine addition for any CDV collector.
