Estate Lot of 6 Cobalt Blue c 1930's

Glass Top Hat Ashtray by Maryland

Glass Company.

Each is adorned with the traditional hat bands above the rims. The top of the hat consists of circles/swirls.

These are sometimes referred to as

"toothpick holders" because some were manufactured without the cigarette/pipe rests.

Not one of the six is the exactly same. What may look like a crack one one is actually just the way the piece was made. (See last photo)

Only one appears to have been used and does have signs of wear and some cracks. This one can be seen in the second to last photo.
