This is a wall-mount music box with a Swiss Thorens movement that plays the Israeli anthem, Hatikvah.
The elaborately illustrated face was created by the well-known illustratorArthur Szyk in 1948 to celebrate the creation of the State of Israel. A very nice piece of Judaica.
It is in wonderful condition. No damage, fading, or scratches. The music box functions smootly.
Approximately 8x10 inches with a glass front. The wood is in excellent condition with no marring or scratches.
Overall it is as beautiful as the meaning behind it\'s creation.
