  The boxes are made in the style of Fedoskino, Palekh, Kholui and Mstiora.  They are also known as Russian boxes.  Although this does not always mean that they are made only there.  There are also many artists in Ukraine who paint in such styles at a high level.  I offer to your attention a box of Ukrainian production and style.

The artist drew a portrait of a young Ukrainian girl with loose braids, wearing an embroidered shirt, holding a basket of fruits on the easel. Nature is depicted in the background. The picture is made in warm colors, the portrait itself is written with high accuracy, proportional and observing symmetry.

  The casket is made of papier-mâché and has a rectangular shape.  It has 4 legs at the bottom.

  The drawing is made in the Fedoschino technique, one of the styles of lacquer miniatures, very thin and professional, the composition is thought out to the smallest detail, the edges are framed with a thin gold ornament.  Inside the box is decorated with red velvet.  At the final stage, the box is completely polished to a mirror shine.
