Miniature Antique 3 Air Jean Billon-Dutoit Cylinder Music Box With Burlwood Case For Sale

This is a great antique 3 song/air Swiss music cylinder player box signed “JD” believed to be for Jean Billon-Dutoit. It’s circa 1880 and contained in a fantastic burlwood veneer box with brass accents. It’s in very good condition with no issues! It wobbles slightly and could be fixed with an adjustment of the tack feet which is a simple fix. It’s a key wind mechanism from the bottom - key included. All the teeth appear to be in great working condition! It works and plays, indexing through all 3 songs with a good tone. The side slide button control the advance/repeat option and the front is the start/stop slide button. It’s a great size, only about 5” wide and 2.5” tall. While the movement does work, the last cleaning and service is unknown and likely would benefit from a proper cleaning.
