Beautiful vintage Montblanc Meisterstück Classique 144R fountain pen in the discontinued Bordeaux/burgundy color with gold-plated trim.

The nib is marked “4810,” “Montblanc,” “14K” and “585,” indicating a solid 14-karat gold nib. Please note that the nib is 14K gold—the entire pen is not solid gold.

Storage unit find with no known prior history. This pen appears extremely clean and very lightly used. The glossy Bordeaux finish, gold-tone trim, nib, feed and original Montblanc converter all appear to be in excellent condition.

It has not been filled with ink during my ownership, but everything appears complete and I see no visible damage or reason it would not function properly. The presentation case and booklet show some normal age and storage wear.
