RARE ORIGINAL NOS VINTAGE KWIK METAL ZIPPER — 9” BLACK HERRINGBONE COTTON TAPE

Up for sale is an exceptional find for the serious vintage restorer or high-end reproduction garment maker: an original vintage KWIK closed-end metal zipper removed from an original factory bundle of 25 New Old Stock examples. Each zipper is unused and has never been installed.

These are not modern reproductions. They are authentic mid-century American-made fasteners manufactured by the U.S. Rubber Company, a primary supplier for WWII and post-war military gear.

Each zipper measures approximately 9” and features No. 5 metal teeth, black cotton herringbone tape, and the distinctive shield-shaped KWIK pull. The reverse of the pull is marked “MADE IN USA,” although stamp clarity varies from zipper to zipper.

This style is commonly used by restorers working on vintage flight jackets, workwear, leather garments, denim, trousers, and high-end reproduction clothing.
