Hand crafted by Christian families in Bethlehem, this beautiful cross is carved out of smooth, polished olive wood with a shimmering mother of pearl veneer. 4 brass-framed capsules at each end contain 4 Holy Land natural elements : Jerusalem stones, Jerusalem sand, biblical frankincense and dried rose petals. The cross emits the pleasing scent of ancient olive trees, growing since the time of Christ in the Jerusalem and Bethlehem hills. Above the image of Christ is the symbol INBI which is "Iesous o Nazoraios o Basileus ton Ioudaion (Greek: Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews)
